1. Your account
- You sign in with Google (or Apple, where offered). Keep that account secure — anything done through your Skilli account is your responsibility.
- You must be at least 13 to use Skilli on your own. If you're under 13, or under the age of adulthood where you live, you may use Skilli only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms for you.
- Give accurate information and one account per person, please.
2. Your AI teacher
Skilli's lessons, plans and feedback are written by artificial intelligence. They're made to be helpful, but they can be wrong, incomplete or not right for your situation.
- Use your judgment. Skilli is for learning — it isn't professional medical, legal, financial, psychological or safety advice.
- Physical skills: for anything active (sports, climbing, cooking, tools and the like), follow proper safety practices, know your limits, and get qualified in-person instruction where it matters. You practise at your own risk.
- Don't use Skilli to learn how to harm people or to break the law. We may decline or stop such requests.
Homework, courses and exams
- The homework helper guides you through your own work — it doesn't give answers. Use it to learn, and follow your school's or university's rules about outside help. You're responsible for the work you hand in.
- Only upload material you're allowed to use for your own studies, and leave out other people's personal details (crop out names and ID numbers).
- Study plans and practice tests are written by AI from your material. They help you prepare, but they don't predict what will be in your exam or your grade.
3. Plans, credits and payments
- Skilli has a free plan and paid plans. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of credits; lessons and other AI features use credits. Monthly credits reset each month and don't roll over.
- Credit packs add extra credits that don't expire while your account is open. Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred or exchanged for money.
- Paid plans and credit packs are bought through the App Store or Google Play, and those stores' terms apply to the payment. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel; you can cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings, and you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies.
- We may change plans, prices or what credits cost. Price changes to a subscription you already have take effect only after we've told you in advance, as the stores require.
4. Your content
You own what you create on Skilli — your answers, photos, posts and messages. You give us permission to store, process and display that content only as needed to run Skilli for you (for example, to have the AI check an answer or to show your post to the people you shared it with). This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies others already received and backups that are overwritten over time.
Lessons and plans your teacher writes for you are yours to use for your own learning. The Skilli app, brand, design and software belong to Skilli.
5. Community guidelines
Friends, groups, families and the public feed only work if people are kind. Don't:
- harass, bully, threaten or impersonate anyone;
- post hateful, sexual, violent or illegal content, or anything that endangers a child;
- post spam, scams or other people's private information;
- try to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer Skilli, get around credits or limits, or access accounts or data that aren't yours.
Public posts are checked by an AI moderator, and you can report or block anyone. We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
6. Ending your account
You can stop using Skilli at any time and delete your account yourself in the app (Me → Settings → Delete account; how), or by writing to support@skilli.app. Deleting your account doesn't cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription — cancel it there too. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms; if we close a paid account without a good reason, we'll help you get a refund for the unused time.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Skilli running and improving, but it's provided “as is”: it may sometimes be unavailable, and features may change or end. We don't promise any particular learning result.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Skilli isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be waived.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using Skilli after that, the new terms apply.
